Judge.me how-tos

Jerald Bosco
Time your review requests to reach customers once their order has arrived and the experience is still fresh.
Lesson notes
Review requests start sending from the moment you install. Set their timing to reach customers after the product has arrived, while the experience is still fresh.
Set the trigger and delay
In your Judge.me admin, go to Settings, then Request Scheduling.
Choose a trigger, the order event that starts the clock: Created, Paid, Fulfilled, Delivered or Archived. Fulfilled suits most stores.
Set a delay for each order type:
Domestic: around 7 days from fulfillment
International: 14 to 21 days
POS (in-person sales): shorter, since the customer already has the product
Add two reminders (Awesome plan)
Set the reminder count to two and choose how many days after the first request each one goes out. Judge.me data shows merchants with two reminders got 19% more reviews.
Check your requests are going out
Open the Requests dashboard to see every request scheduled or sent, with the customer, product and send date. On a new store it fills up after your first order. The first review typically arrives two to four weeks after fulfillment.
If something doesn't look right
Few responses: check your trigger. Switching from Created to Fulfilled can make a big difference.
Existing requests didn't change: timing changes apply to orders placed after you save.
Some customers never get a request: check the marketing consent settings in your Judge.me admin. If requests go only to customers who opted in to marketing in Shopify, the rest won't receive one.
