What is the Judge.me Trust Badge?
A small badge you add to your store pages. It shows your review score, and a tap opens your verified purchase reviews and your Judge.me certification together, so shoppers can see what to expect before they buy.
How is it different from the review widget?
Your review widget is where shoppers read the detail. Your Trust Badge is what tells them the detail is worth reading, in the seconds before they decide to look.
How is the Trust Score calculated?
It's the plain average of your verified purchase reviews. Every review counts once, whatever it says and whenever it was left, and the full list is one click away.
How long does it take to set up?
A few minutes. Switch the Trust Badge on in your Judge.me app, then pick where it appears on your store. Certification needs no setup at all, Judge.me checks your store against the four standards for you. The shipping and refund check can take up to 5 working days, usually less.
What if I don't meet the certification standards?
Your Trust Badge works as normal, showing your score and your verified reviews. Your Judge.me app shows where you stand and what to fix. When you've made a change, run that check again from your app rather than waiting, since a policy update isn't always picked up on its own. The mark appears as soon as you've met all four, and shoppers only ever see it once you have.
Can I lose certification?
Yes. Judge.me keeps checking after you're certified, so the mark always reflects your store as it is now. If one of the four starts failing, you have 7 days to put it right before the mark comes off. If your verified reviews drop below 5, you keep the mark for up to 30 days while you build them back up.
Is it free?
Yes. The Trust Badge and Trust Certification are both included on the Free plan.
Can I customize the Trust Badge?
Yes. Pick outline or filled, black, white or Judge.me teal, and the alignment, and set it differently for each place the badge appears.
Which languages does the Trust Badge show in?
On your storefront, the certification details show in English for now.
Why can’t I enable the Trust Badge and Certification?
You need one verified review for the badge to go live, and five before Judge.me starts checking your store for certification.
