Lesson notes

Customers reply to review requests they recognize. Add your logo, sender name and tone of voice to make yours look like they came from your store.

Set your tone of voice

  1. Go to Settings, then Email Templates, and open the Smart Email Template.

  2. Pick a tone: Direct, Elegant, Friendly or your own custom voice. Edit the default text to sound like your store.

  3. If you turned on reminders in Lesson 3, open the Reminder tab and write their wording.

Set your sender name and logo

  1. On the Email Templates page, click Edit Sender Settings to change the name customers see in their inbox. It defaults to your store name.

  2. Click Edit Template Styling to upload your logo, as a PNG or JPG under 1MB. It applies to all your Judge.me emails.

  3. Click Send Sample Email and check it on your phone and your desktop.

Colors, fonts and corner styles are on the Awesome plan. To send from your own business email domain, follow the custom domain guide.

If something doesn't look right

  • Changes missing from the sample: the editor and template styling are separate sections, so update both. On an older template, create a new Smart Email Template.

  • Logo tiny on mobile: use a compact version, like the icon on its own or the icon stacked above the name.

  • Grayed-out styling options: those are Awesome plan features.
