Available on the Free plan

Moving from Stamped to Judge.me? You can easily transfer your reviews for free to maintain credibility and boost conversions. Follow this step-by-step guide to export your Stamped reviews and import them into Judge.me at no charge.

Considerations

  • If you migrate from Stamped to Judge.me in the same Shopify store, reviews imported from Stamped can be selectively verified in Judge.me based on the verification data that meets our standards.

  • If you migrate from Stamped in a BigCommerce store to Judge.me in a new Shopify store, reviews imported from Stamped on BigCommerce won’t be verified in Judge.me on Shopify. This is because orders, products, and customers are stored differently on each platform, so we can’t confirm the original purchase data across platforms.

  • Imported reviews won’t appear in the Product Ratings feed for Google Shopping, even when they are verified.

  • Unverified product reviews and Store reviews cannot be synced to TikTok Shop.

Step 2: Import reviews to Judge.me

Note:

The import steps depend on whether you're migrating from Stamped to Judge.me within the same Shopify store, or from Stamped on a BigCommerce store to Judge.me in a Shopify store.

Make sure you follow the steps that match your situation. Otherwise, the reviews may fail to import.

Case 1: Migrate from Stamped to Judge.me on the same Shopify store

If you’re switching from Stamped to Judge.me within the same Shopify store, to import your Stamped reviews to Judge.me:

  1. From your Judge.me admin, go to Settings > Import reviews > Import from apps.

  2. Find "Stamped" and click Import.

  3. Upload the CSV files that you exported in Step 2.

  4. Click Import to complete the process.

Case 2: Migrate from Stamped on BigCommerce to Judge.me on Shopify

If you’re moving from BigCommerce to Shopify and switching from Stamped to Judge.me at the same time, to import your Stamped reviews to Judge.me:

  1. Upload the file using our import wizard:

  2. Map the columns:

    • Since the file was exported from another Judge.me account, most fields will be pre-matched correctly:

      • Review title → title

      • Review body (Required) → body

      • Rating (Required) → rating

      • Review date → review_date

      • Reviewer name → reviewer_name

      • Reviewer email → reviewer_email

      • Reply → reply

    • For any columns that don’t have values in your file (e.g. picture_urls, ip_address, or other unused fields), select Skipped from the dropdown.

    • Click Next.

  3. Select product identifier: Since the product identifiers differ between BigCommerce and Shopify, reviews can’t be matched automatically. In this step, you choose which product identifier will be used to prepare for the mapping in the next step.

    • Under Match products using, select "Manual product mapping (by reference column)".

    • In the Reference column in your file dropdown, choose either "product_id" or "product_handle".

    • Click Next.

  4. Map the products: Now, link each product reference from your CSV to the correct Shopify product.

    • In the Product column, search for and select the matching Shopify product for each reference.

      • All reviews with the same reference (e.g. the same product_id) will be linked to the Shopify product you select.

      • If a product isn’t mapped, its reviews will be imported as store reviews instead.

    • Once all products are mapped, click Import to finish.

Step 3: Check the import result

Once you upload the review file, we process it in the background.

When the import is complete (usually within 5 minutes), you’ll receive an email with the results, sent to the address listed under your Admin notifications.

You can also view these results directly in the Reviews Import Log inside your Judge.me admin.

If your import succeeds

If your reviews are successfully imported:

  • To show your imported Product reviews on product pages, install the Star Rating Badge and Review Widget.

  • To show your imported Store reviews, set up the All Reviews Page and Floating Reviews Tab.

  • Since videos are not imported by default, if you have videos in your reviews, after the reviews have been imported, you can edit the reviews to upload your videos.

If your import fails

If, unfortunately, your reviews fail to import, check out this article to fix your CSV file and reimport the failed reviews.
