This guide will show you how to export your Yotpo reviews and import them into Judge.me at no cost, so you can continue displaying authentic social proof on your store without any disruptions.

Step 1: Export reviews from Yotpo

To export reviews from Yotpo:

  1. From your Yotpo admin, go to Reviews > Moderation.

  2. Click Export to CSV on the right and select All reviews.

Step 2: Import reviews to Judge.me

To import the reviews that you exported from Yotpo to Judge.me:

  • From your Judge.me admin, go to Manage Reviews > Reviews dashboard.

  • Click Import & sync reviews on the top right.

  • Under Import reviews from a CSV file, select "Yotpo" and click Import.

  • Upload the CSV file you exported in Step 1.

  • Click Import.

Step 3: Check the import result

The import will take around 5 minutes. Once it's finished, we will email you the results, including:

  • How many reviews successfully imported

  • How many reviews failed to import plus a CSV file of these failed reviews and why they failed

You can also find this information in the app:

  • From your Judge.me admin, go to Manage Reviews > Reviews Dashboard.

  • Click the Import & sync reviews button.

  • Scroll down to Reviews import log.

Step 4: Import Store reviews to Judge.me (optional)

By default:

  • Yotpo fills the Product ID column with "yotpo_site_reviews" for store reviews.

  • Judge.me requires the Product ID column to be empty for store reviews.

As a result, store reviews will fail to import at first.

To import store reviews from Yotpo:

  • Open the error file:

    • Download the error file from Step 3.

    • From the Google Sheet screen, go to File > Import.

    • Go to Upload and click Browse to upload the error file.

    • Click Import data.

  • Fix the Product ID column:

    • Find the Product ID column (usually column AE)

    • Delete the content in this column but don't delete the column header.

  • Download the corrected CSV file:

    • From the Google Sheet screen, go to File > Download and select "Comma Separated Values (.csv)".

  • Follow the same steps in Step 2 to re-upload this corrected CSV file.
