Published review ratings → product order in Sort'd's merchandiser and automations

Judge.me and Sort'd Merchandiser integration: a merchant's drag-and-drop merchandiser panel showing a collection's products reordered from a mixed star-rating order to highest-rating-first.

See your star ratings while you merchandise, then sort by them

Judge.me and Sort’d Merchandiser let Shopify merchants use their Judge.me star rating to decide what shows first on a collection page. Once connected, your Judge.me rating and review count appear directly on product cards inside Sort’d’s Drag & Drop Merchandiser, right alongside the other information you already use to arrange a collection — the review count is there for reference while you work; the rating is what you actually sort or filter by. From there, Sort’d’s Smart Sort Tools let you select, move or sort products that match a rating condition — for example, every product rated 3 stars or higher — and the change applies to your live collection page when you apply it.

Keep a section current with Automations

If you’d rather not re-sort by hand every time new reviews come in, build a Recurring Automation that keeps a section of a collection stocked with products meeting a rating condition you choose — for example, 4 stars and above. Automations include a preview step before anything changes live; once you switch one to Active, it keeps applying the rule on its own schedule, or whenever you trigger it, so the section keeps reflecting your current ratings without you re-running the sort by hand.

How Judge.me and Sort’d Merchandiser work together

Once you enable the integration in Sort’d and your store syncs, your published Judge.me ratings and review counts become available throughout Sort’d’s merchandising tools. Sort’d only reads this data to help you arrange collections — it never writes, edits or removes anything in Judge.me, and nothing about how reviews display elsewhere on your store changes. The first sync can take up to an hour; later review updates can take a few minutes to reach Sort’d. Follow the connection setup guide for configuration and screenshots.

Before you connect

  • Plans and platform: Install both apps on the same Shopify store. This integration works on Judge.me’s Free plan (it also works on Awesome). Sort’d Merchandiser requires a paid Premium plan — it isn’t available on Sort’d’s free tier; check current pricing on its Shopify listing.

  • Merchandiser Version: Inside Sort’d, the Merchandiser Version must be set to Pro (not Standard) to use Judge.me data — this is a separate in-app setting from your Sort’d plan name, and both are required.

  • What stays the same: This integration only changes how products are arranged inside Sort’d. It doesn’t add a rating display to your storefront, and it never changes anything in Judge.me itself.

  • Support: Sort’d Merchandiser develops and maintains this integration. Its support team is the best contact for setup or merchandising questions.

Get started

Already using both apps? Follow the Judge.me and Sort’d Merchandiser setup guide to enable the integration, set your Merchandiser Version to Pro, and start sorting or automating collections by rating.

New to either app? Install Judge.me Product Reviews and install Sort’d Merchandiser, then use the setup guide. Judge.me’s Free plan is enough for this integration; Sort’d Merchandiser needs a paid Premium plan.
