Store reviews give shoppers a broader picture of your brand by capturing their experience with customer support, delivery, and your website—not just your products. This guide walks you through setting up email templates, enabling post-review collection, and using storefront buttons to gather authentic store feedback.
Collect store reviews
You can collect store reviews using the following methods:
1. When a product review is submitted
You can ask customers to leave a store review right after they have submitted a product review.
Here's how it works:
Your customer submits a product review, either via the review request emails or from the Review Widget on your product page.
We open a separate form where they can share feedback about their overall shopping experience.
To enable store review collection after a product review is submitted:
From your Judge.me admin, go to Settings > Widgets.
Find the Write a Review card and click Customize.
Scroll down to the Submission flow section.
Enable "Request store review after product review is submitted".
Click Save.
2. In the review follow-up emails
You can collect store reviews directly in your post-review and reward emails—turning follow-ups into powerful feedback moments without extra outreach.
Here's how it works:
Your customer submits a product review.
Depending on your settings, we might send them the following emails:
Post-review notifications:
Media reminder email
Discounts and rewards
We check if the customer has submitted a store review.
If they haven't left a store review, we include a block at the bottom of these emails to ask for a store review.
To enable store review collection in the post-review and reward emails:
From your Judge.me admin, go to Settings > Email templates.
In the Post-review notifications and Discount and rewards section, click Edit next to the email you want to update.
Scroll down to the Email add-ons section.
Enable "Ask for a store review".
Click Save.
3. In the review request emails (Custom template)
You can gather store reviews via review request emails by adding the Shop review block in the Email Templates.
From your Judge.me admin, go to Settings > Email templates.
In the Email templates section, click Create > Create custom template (or Edit to edit an existing one).
In the Blocks tab:
Drag and drop the Shop review block into your template. This adds a Review our store button.
(Optional) Add a Text block to write a personalized message asking for store feedback.
Click Save.
When a customer clicks the Review our store button in the email, they’ll be taken directly to your store review submission page.
👉 For more tips on using blocks, read our guide about using the drag-and-drop email editor.
