The Questions and Answers Widget lets shoppers ask product-specific questions directly on your product pages. You can respond publicly in the Review Widget and privately via email. This user-generated content builds trust, reduces support inquiries, and creates a rich FAQ that improves SEO and boosts conversions.
Enable the Q&A tab
To add the Questions and Answers widget to your product pages:
From your Judge.me admin, go to Settings > Widgets.
Scroll to the Questions and Answers card and click Customize.
Enable "Show Q&A Tab" to display questions and answers as a tab and add a Ask a question button inside the Review Widget.
Enable "Show Q&A Badge" to add a clickable badge next to the Star Rating Badge.
Click Save.

Considerations
Even if you enable web reviews restriction, the Ask a question button will still appear if Q&A is enabled.
It’s not possible to display the Q&A tab before the Reviews tab if there are no published reviews. The widget will always default to the Reviews tab, even if it's empty. The Q&A tab will only be shown as a secondary tab.
Customize the Q&A widget
To update the look and feel of the Q&A tab and badge:
From your Judge.me admin, go to Settings > Widgets.
Scroll down to find the Questions and Answers card and click Customize.
There, you can adjust the following elements:

To adjust the texts in the Q&A tab:
Scroll down to the Text section and click Customize text.
Under each field below in the Tab and Badge tabs, adjust the texts to your likings and click Save.

2. Q&A badge position
To choose how the Q&A badge will show with the Star Rating Badge:
Scroll down to Badge settings.
Choose from these options:
"Different rows": the Q&A badge will show below the Star Rating Badge
"Same row": the Q&A badge will show next to the Star Rating Badge
Click Save.
3. Q&A badge icon
To add the Q&A icon to your Q&A badge:
Scroll down to the Color section.
Enable "Show Q&A icon on Preview Badge (stars)".
You can also select a color for the Q&A icon.
Click Save.
Customize the Q&A widget with CSS
To apply more custom styling to your Q&A Badge:
From your Judge.me admin, go to Settings > Widgets.
Find the Star Rating Badge card and click Customize.
Scroll down to Advanced and open the Custom CSS (Advanced) editor.
Add in the following CSS code.
Click Save.

Manage your questions and answers
To see all your questions and answers:
From your Judge.me admin, go to the Reviews section.
Click the Customer questions tab.
There you can take the following actions:
1. Reply to a question
To reply to a question:
Click the Reply icon on the right of the question.
Add your answer and click Send answer.
Replying to a question does not automatically publish it. You’ll need to manually publish the question for it to appear on your store.
2. Publish a question:
By default, all new submitted questions from your customers will be hidden.
To publish a question:
From your Judge.me admin, go to the Reviews section.
Click the Customer questions tab.
Find the question you want to publish and click the status dropdown next to it.
Select Publish question.
3. Edit a question
To edit a question:
Click the 3-dot icon (...) on the right of the question and select Edit question.
Adjust the question how you see fit and click Edit question.
We will send an email to inform the customer about the changes.
4. Delete a question
To delete a question:
Click the 3-dot icon (...) on the left of the question and select Delete question.
5. Ask community
You can use the Ask community feature to invite recent customers to answer the questions for you. They’ll receive an email asking to contribute answers, adding valuable peer insights for future shoppers.
To send an email to your customers requesting an answer to a submitted question:
Click the 3-dot icon (...) on the right of the question and select Ask community.
In the We will email the buyers of the last 10 orders with this product field, select the number of customers you want to send an email to (min 10 most recent orders, max 100 most recent orders).
Click Send question.
Q&A notification emails
When a customer submits a question through the Q&A Widget and you (or another customer) respond, we will automatically send a notification email to the customer to let them know their question has been answered.
To ensure customers receive timely updates on their questions, Q&A notification emails cannot be turned off.
To customize the Q&A notification emails:
From your Judge.me admin, go to Settings > Email templates.
Scroll down to the Post-review notifications section.
Click Edit on the right of Q&A notification.
Scroll down to the Template section.
There you can adjust the texts in the following fields and click Save.
