With Judge.me, you can send multilingual emails to match your customers’ browsing language. This improves readability, increases response rates, and helps you gather more high-quality reviews across regions.

How it works

Once you enable multi-language emails, we automatically detect your customers' store language and send the appropriate version of the email. For example:

  • If a customer places an order through the French version of your store, they will receive the French version of your emails once the order is fulfilled.

Considerations

  • To use multi-language emails with custom-styling templates, you'd need to create a default template and 1 template for each additional language you want to support.

Enable multi-language emails

Step 1: Publish an additional language in Shopify

If you've already published an additional language, besides your default language, you can skip this step.

To publish an additional language in Shopify:

  1. From your Shopify admin, go to Settings > Languages.

  2. Click Add language.

  3. Open the Language dropdown and select a language from the list.

  4. Click Add.

  5. Use a translation app (like Shopify Translate & Adapt or Weglot) to translate your store content.

  6. Click the 3-dot icon (...) next to each language and select Publish.

Step 2: Enable multi-language emails in Judge.me

To enable multi-language emails:

  1. From your Judge.me admin, go to Settings > Language.

  2. Scroll down to the Emails section at the bottom.
