Have reviews from Facebook, Instagram, offline sales, or personal connections? No problem! With Judge.me, you can quickly create and upload a properly formatted CSV file to showcase customer feedback on your store.
Note:
Imported reviews are not automatically verified. If you are importing reviews from a verified source, such as another store you own, contact support@judge.me with proof (e.g., screenshots of order history) for manual verification.
Before you import
To import reviews into Judge.me, you’ll first need to prepare a CSV file containing your reviews in the correct format.
Open our Google Sheet template and click Make a copy to start editing (or click here to download the sample file). This template includes all required columns and example values to guide you.
Fill in your reviews with this format:

Advanced columns
Our default template only includes the basic columns. You can add more information to your reviews by adding these advanced columns to your CSV file.

Special use cases
Leave product_url, product_id, and product_handle empty to import as Store reviews.
Currently, it's not possible to import videos. As a workaround, you can first import the reviews, then edit the imported reviews to add videos.
From your Judge.me admin, go to Manage Reviews > Reviews dashboard.
Locate the review you want to add the videos.
Click the 3-dot icon (...) next to the review and select Edit review.
Upload your videos and click Save.
Import your reviews to Judge.me
Once you've finished adding reviews to your file, download it to your computer:
From your Google Sheet screen, go to File > Download.
Select Comma Separated Values (.csv).
Then upload the file you just downloaded to Judge.me:
From your Judge.me admin, go to Manage Reviews > Reviews dashboard.
Click Import & sync reviews on the top right.
In Import reviews from the CSV file, select Judge.me format.
Upload the file and click Import.
After you import
The import will take around 5 minutes. Once it's finished, we will email you the results, including:
How many reviews successfully imported
How many reviews failed to import plus a CSV file of these failed reviews and why they failed
You can also find this information in the app:
From your Judge.me admin, go to Manage Reviews > Reviews Dashboard.
Click the Import & sync reviews button.
Scroll down to Reviews import log.
If your import succeeds
If the import was successful but reviews don't show on your website, here's what to check:
If you want to show reviews on product pages
Make sure the reviews were imported as Product reviews, not Store reviews.
From your Judge.me admin, go to Manage Reviews > Reviews Dashboard.
Under the Reviewer name, you’ll see a clickable link.

If the link says "your shop", it's a Store review

| You can install the Star Rating Badge and Review Widget to show these Product reviews on your product pages |
If you want to import the reviews as Store reviews
Set up the All Reviews Page and Floating Reviews Tab to show store reviews.
