Have reviews from Facebook, Instagram, offline sales, or personal connections? No problem! With Judge.me, you can quickly create and upload a properly formatted CSV file to showcase customer feedback on your store.
Considerations
Reviews imported even when using Judge.me template won't be verified in Judge.me as they don't provide verification data that meets our standards.
It's not possible to import reviews that only contain star ratings (a review body is required).
It's also not possible to import videos when importing reviews — only text and images are supported.
Import reviews using Judge.me template
Step 1: Prepare the CSV file
To import reviews using Judge.me template, you’ll first need to prepare a CSV file containing your reviews in the correct format.
Open our Google Sheet template.
Click Make a copy to start editing (or click here to download the sample file).
This template includes all the basic columns and example values to guide you:
Fill in the review details using these basic columns.
(Optional) You can also add advanced columns if you want to include extra information (e.g. reply and custom questions).
Once you've finished adding reviews to your file, download it to your computer:
Go to File > Download.
Select Comma Separated Values (.csv).
The basic and advanced columns are explained in detail below.

Advanced columns
Besides the basic columns, you also can add more information to your reviews by adding these advanced columns to your CSV file:

Note: You can leave product_url, product_id, and product_handle empty to import as Store reviews.
Step 2: Import reviews to Judge.me
To import the reviews from the CSV file you prepared to Judge.me:
From your Judge.me admin, go to Settings > Import reviews > Import from apps.
Find "Judge.me format" and click Import.
Upload your CSV file you prepared using Judge.me template.
Click Import to start the process.
Note:
We do not send any emails to customers listed in your CSV file during the review import process. Imported reviews are treated as historical data and will not trigger any notifications.
Step 3: Check the import result
Once you upload the review file, we process it in the background.
When the import is complete (usually within 5 minutes), you’ll receive an email with the results, sent to the address listed under your Admin notifications.
You can also view these results directly in the Reviews Import Log inside your Judge.me admin.
If your import succeeds
If your reviews are successfully imported:
To show your imported Product reviews on product pages, install the Star Rating Badge and Review Widget.
To show your imported Store reviews, set up the All Reviews Page and Floating Reviews Tab.
Since videos are not imported by default, if you have videos in your reviews, after the reviews have been imported, you can edit the reviews to upload your videos.
