Judge.me Email is installed from the Shopify App Store. It's a separate app from Judge.me Reviews, so installing one doesn't install the other. However, you can run both side by side.
Install the app
Open the Judge.me Email listing on the Shopify App Store.
Click Install.
Review the permissions Shopify shows you, then click Install to confirm.
Shopify then opens Judge.me Email inside your Shopify admin. On first open, the app connects to your store and starts importing your existing customers as subscribers.
What happens after install
Your Shopify customers are synced into Subscribers automatically. This can take a little while on larger stores.
Note: Only customers who've opted into marketing emails (or unsubscribed, or have a pending opt-in) show up in your Subscribers list. Customers who've never opted in aren't shown there — but they're not forgotten either: if they opt in later, Judge.me picks it up automatically.
A setup guide appears on your Home dashboard, with checklist items to set up your brand, activate your automated flows, and enable Judge.me on your storefront.
To collect subscribers from your storefront popup, you'll also enable the Judge.me Email app embed in your theme — see the sign-up popup guide.
Open the app later
To reopen Judge.me Email at any time:
From your Shopify admin, go to Apps.
Click Judge.me Email.
