Bring customer experiences into your mobile product pages

The Judge.me and Tapcart integration displays product reviews inside your Shopify store’s mobile app. Add the Judge.me Reviews Block to a product detail screen so shoppers can read feedback, view customer photos and watch review videos while considering the product.

Give shoppers more than the product description

For products where appearance or everyday use matters, shoppers can look through customer photos and videos alongside written experiences. Tapcart puts that existing feedback on the product detail screen, where customers are already considering the item.

The block brings existing review content into the app. It is useful when you are building a mobile storefront and want the customer feedback collected through Judge.me to be part of the product experience.

How the integration works

Enable platform-independent widgets in Judge.me, then connect your shop domain and public token in Tapcart. In App Studio, add the Judge.me Reviews Block to the Product Details screen, choose its position and publish the layout change.

Tapcart uses that connection to display the product’s reviews. Keep the platform-independent widget enabled in Judge.me so the in-app display continues to work.

Before you connect

• Plans and platform: your store must use Shopify. This setup requires Judge.me Awesome for platform-independent widgets; Tapcart lists the integration as Enterprise only.

• Widget version: platform-independent display supports the legacy Review Widget. If you use the new Review Widget, you must switch back to the legacy version for this display.

• Placement: the documented review display is on product detail pages. It does not add star ratings to product listing pages.

• Collection: this integration is read-only. Customers cannot submit reviews from within the app through this connection.

New to either app? Install Judge.me and Tapcart, then complete the connection and block setup. Your mobile app’s build and release requirements remain separate from enabling reviews.
