The Judge.me and Hextom integration translates review content on the storefront. Hextom’s Basic translation mode provides automatic coverage; its Advanced mode and Visual Editor give merchants more control over wording.

Refine the feedback shoppers read

A merchant can start with automatic translations, then refine important customer-facing wording using the Visual Editor on a paid Hextom plan. Advanced translations may miss third-party app text; Auto Coverage can fill untranslated content with Basic translation. Basic translations themselves cannot be edited.

How the integration works

Install both apps on your Shopify store, activate Hextom’s theme extension and publish the languages you need. Choose the appropriate translation mode and check review content through the storefront language switcher. The Visual Editor supports third-party and dynamic text when configured for a published Advanced language.

Before you connect

• Judge.me: Free supports this connection.

• Hextom: language and translation allowances depend on the app plan. Visual Editor requires a paid plan.

• Translation modes: Basic translation cannot be edited. For manual refinements, use Advanced translation and the Visual Editor; the Basic translation mode is different from the paid plan named Basic.

• Storefront setup: activate the theme extension and publish the intended languages. Keep Judge.me metafields unchanged because they can contain widget-rendering code.

Get started

Already using both apps? Follow the connection guide, open a reviewed product in a published target language and inspect the translated text. If you use the paid Visual Editor, refine one translation and check the storefront again.

New to either app? Install Judge.me and Hextom, choose the required plans and complete the connection before testing your customer experience.
