The Judge.me and Frequently Bought Together integration adds star ratings and review counts to the product bundles shown by Code Black Belt’s app. Shoppers can see feedback about the recommended items while deciding what to add to their cart.
Put each product’s feedback beside the recommendation
A shopper considering a coffee dripper might also be offered a server and filter papers. Showing the rating for each reviewed item adds customer context to that combination, without asking the shopper to open every product page first.
The stars represent the individual products. This integration does not combine their reviews into a new rating for the bundle.
Fit the ratings to your bundle layout
Enable product ratings in Frequently Bought Together and choose whether to show the review count alongside them. You can adjust the colours and styling to suit the recommendation widget.
Frequently Bought Together determines which items are recommended; Judge.me supplies their customer ratings. You can add that feedback to a combination you have chosen manually or to the app’s automatic recommendations, depending on your plan.
How the integration works
With both apps installed, open the product-rating settings in Frequently Bought Together’s visual preferences. Enable ratings, choose Judge.me as the review provider and select whether to display the review count.
The widget shows stars for recommended products that have reviews. A product without feedback will not display a star rating or review count.
Before you connect
Plans and platform: use both apps on Shopify. Judge.me’s basic star ratings are available on Free. Frequently Bought Together offers a Starter plan for limited manual bundles and paid plans for automatic recommendations.
Placement: this integration adds ratings to bundles on product pages, not a review display at checkout.
App identity: use Frequently Bought Together by Code Black Belt. PRO Frequently Bought Together is a different app with a separate setup.
Support ownership: Code Black Belt develops and maintains this integration.
