Judge.me & Appbrew integration

Bring your store’s review activity into your mobile app

The Judge.me and Appbrew integration lets Shopify merchants display product ratings and review counts in their mobile app. Shoppers can open a dedicated screen to read reviews, and signed-in customers can leave their own feedback.

Help shoppers explore the experiences behind a rating

A shopper can move from a product’s average rating and review count to the feedback behind them. Appbrew currently opens reviews on a separate screen, so plan that step into your app’s shopping experience when deciding where reviews should appear.

Give signed-in customers a place to contribute

Customers who are signed in can submit a review from the app’s review screen. This extends the review activity you already run through Judge.me to customers using your mobile storefront.

You can also style the review section with your brand’s colors, fonts and button styling so that the screen fits the surrounding app.

How the integration works

Configure Judge.me through Appbrew Studio. The current configuration reference requires a Judge.me public token and includes optional display settings. Appbrew provides the rating/review experience and the separate screen used to read and submit feedback.

Before you connect

• Judge.me: Free supports this connection.

• Platform and Appbrew plan: use a Shopify store, an active Judge.me account and Appbrew Starter or above.

• Contribution: customers must be signed in to submit a review.

• Placement: reviews currently open in a separate screen; they are not rendered directly within the native product detail page.

Get started

Already using both apps? Use Appbrew’s Judge.me integration information and the configuration reference to prepare the connection in Studio. Open a reviewed product in the app, check the separate review screen and test a submission while signed in.

New to either app? Install Judge.me and Appbrew, then configure the integration as part of your mobile app setup.
