Tracked order delivery → review-request scheduling

Judge.me and AfterShip integration: illustration of a delivered wall-hook parcel leading to a scheduled review-request email inside a phone.

Ask for feedback after customers receive their order

The Judge.me and AfterShip integration uses shipment tracking to schedule review requests after delivery. AfterShip supplies the delivery status, and Judge.me applies your request timing settings before sending the invitation. This helps you ask about a product after it has arrived, rather than relying only on its fulfilment date.

Give customers time to experience the product

A homeware store shipping wall hooks can start its review-request delay from tracked delivery. Customers on slower routes get a chance to receive the parcel before the request is scheduled, while shoppers whose parcels arrive sooner can move through the request process accordingly.

Choose a delay that suits your product. Delivery confirms that the parcel arrived; it does not confirm that the customer has installed or used the item.

Set boundaries for delayed or missing tracking

Configure minimum and maximum waiting conditions and follow requests in the Judge.me dashboard. Requests with a tracking record wait for delivery, then move into the sending schedule when AfterShip reports the order delivered.

Tracking can be missing or stale. If Judge.me cannot create a tracking record after a retry, it falls back to fulfilment-based scheduling. You can also enable an option to release requests still waiting for delivery after 60 days from fulfilment.

How the integration works

Add the tracking number and carrier when fulfilling the Shopify order. Connect AfterShip to Judge.me with an AfterShip API key, enable the integration and save your timing conditions.

Judge.me checks the tracking record every 12 hours. When AfterShip confirms delivery, Judge.me schedules the request using your configured timing. This is a periodic delivery check, so the invitation is not sent immediately when a courier marks a parcel delivered.

Judge.me owns the review request and feedback collection. AfterShip provides shipment status; this connection does not import reviews collected by a separate AfterShip reviews app.

Before you connect

  • Judge.me: Awesome is required.

  • AfterShip Tracking: choose a current Premium or Enterprise plan. The current Premium offering includes API access; check shipment allowances for your volume.

  • Order data: provide a valid tracking number and supported carrier during fulfilment.

  • Automatic requests: manually scheduled review requests are outside this integration’s supported flow.

  • Other senders: the connection may not work as expected if you also send review requests through Klaviyo. Check that workflow before enabling delivery-based scheduling.

  • Fallbacks: missing tracking can lead to fulfilment-based requests. Review your minimum delay and optional 60-day release setting rather than assuming every request waits for confirmed delivery.

  • Disconnection: requests already waiting for delivery stop receiving AfterShip updates if you disable the integration. Review those requests and send them manually when appropriate.

Get started

Already using both apps? Enable the connection and check a tracked test order from waiting for delivery through to its scheduled request. Confirm that the delay matches your intended customer experience. Also inspect a missing-tracking case and a request already waiting for delivery, so you understand the fallback and do not leave the queue unattended.

New to either app? Install Judge.me and AfterShip Tracking, choose the required plans and set up carrier tracking. Connect the API key, save your timing conditions and test the request flow before relying on it.
