With Judge.me, you can send multilingual review request emails to match your customers’ browsing language. This improves readability, increases response rates, and helps you gather more high-quality reviews across regions.

How multilingual email translation works

  • When you enable multi-language emails and create custom templates for each supported language, Judge.me automatically detects your customers' store language and sends the appropriate version of the email.

  • If no match is found, a default template will be sent instead.

For example, when a customer visits your store in French, for example, Judge.me will send the French version of your review request email—if a matching template exists.

How to use multiple language emails

Step 1: Publish translated languages in Shopify

  1. From your Shopify admin, go to Settings > Languages.

  2. Click Add a language and choose from the list.

  3. Use a translation app (like Shopify Translate & Adapt or Weglot) to translate your store content.

  4. Click the three-dot icon next to each language and select Publish.

Step 2: Enable multi-language emails in Judge.me

  2. In the Language section, click Do you expect to receive reviews in multiple languages?

  3. Check the box Send emails in each of your store's languages.
