At Judge.me, we take privacy seriously. PII censoring setting helps prevent sensitive personal information from being publicly displayed in your reviews.
How it works
We use Google Cloud DLP to scan the review titles, review bodies, and custom form answers for common types of personally identifiable information (PII)—including email addresses, phone numbers (including US toll-free numbers), and credit card numbers.
For reviews with PII detected, you can choose from either of these options:
We will replace the PII in the reviews with [****].
We will replace the PII in the reviews with [****] and also hide them from your storefront.
Censor and hide reviews with PII
To control what happens to reviews with PII detected:
From your Judge.me admin, go to Settings > Publishing and moderation.
Scroll down to the Review restriction section.
For Personal information, select one of the following options:
Censor personal information and publish review – The PII in the reviews with be automatically replaced with [****].
Hide review containing personal information – The PII in the reviews with be automatically replaced with [****]. The reviews will also be automatically hidden.
Click Save.
Filter reviews with PII
To filter reviews with PII in the Reviews dashboard:
From your Judge.me admin, go to Reviews.
Click the Search and filter icon (🔍︎ᯤ) on the right.
Click Add filter + on the left.
Select Type, then select With personal information.
