Showing reviews in Facebook and Instagram shops with Meta syndication

Updated yesterday

Make the most out of your customers' feedback by syndicating your Judge.me reviews with Meta to display them on your Facebook and Instagram shops.

How it works

Once you've enabled the Meta syndication in Judge.me:

  1. Judge.me creates a feed with your product review data and submit it to Meta.

  2. Meta will analyze the feed and send the syndication status back to Judge.me.

  3. If the syndication goes through successfully, your reviews will start showing in your Facebook and Instagram shops.

To ensure compliance with Meta:

  • We include all eligible product reviews in the feed we submit to Meta, regardless of their statuses (published, hidden, archived).

  • All reviews in the feed must adhere to Meta's Community Standards and Community Feedback Policy.

  • The following reviews are not included in the Meta review feed:

    • Reviews with only star ratings

    • Reviews imported from AliExpress

How it looks

Here is an example of how the syndicated reviews show in Inspired Home's Instagram shop:

Considerations

Syncing reviews to Meta (for Facebook and Instagram Shops) is different from sharing reviews as posts on your Facebook or Instagram pages.

If you want to share reviews as posts on Facebook or Instagram — instead of displaying reviews in your Facebook or Instagram Shops — check out these features instead:

Enable Meta review syndication

To enable Meta syndication:

  1. From your Judge.me admin, go to Settings > Integrations > Meta.

  2. In the Meta Shop section, select "Enable review syndication".

  3. Click Save.

You'll now see the status: "Reviews feed submitted to Meta. It may take up to 2 weeks before you can see your syndicated reviews".

  • If your reviews can't be synced due to eligibility criteria, the status will change to "Your reviews can’t be syndicated because your store doesn’t meet the eligibility criteria".

  • If Meta couldn't find your Facebook or Instagram store with the provided information, the status will change to "Your reviews can’t be syndicated because Meta was unable to find your Facebook or Instagram store using the information provided".

  • If the syndication is successful, the status will change to: "Reviews feed connected successfully (72 reviews across 20 products matched)" and the reviews will appear on your Facebook/Instagram shops.
