AI-powered review insight give shoppers a quick snapshot of what customers are saying about your products and your store, without the need to scroll through every review. These summaries, keywords, review highlights, and review sentiments increase trust and reduce hesitation, especially for new or undecided customers.
How it looks
The AI review insights in the Happy Customers Widget include one or more of the following section, each can be turned on or off independently:
AI review summary, which includes these key visual elements by default:
Review keywords and sentiments, which includes these key visual elements by default:
Review highlights, which includes these key visual elements by default:
How it works
Here's how AI review insights works when enabled:
AI will analyze up to 500 of the most recent published product and store reviews, including imported reviews.
AI then creates:
AI review summary β A short summary in English, highlighting common themes or sentiments from those reviews.
Review keywords and sentiments β Keywords and (a small set of recurring topics, e.g. fit, quality, shipping) and sentiment on those keywords (positive, negative, or neutral)
Review highlights β up to 3 short, positive quotes in English taken from real reviews
You can enable the summary, keywords and sentiments, and highlight separately. They will show in the header of the Happy Customers Widget.
AI review insights are refreshed automatically every 30 days. If you disable the AI review summary and then re-enable it, the same summary will be shown unless more than 30 days have passed since the last update.
Considerations
AI review insights are only available in the Happy Customers Widget (new version).
The AI review summary, review keywords and sentiments, and review highlights cannot be edited.
The AI-powered review summary based on recent customer reviews disclaimer text is a system label and cannot be edited or customized.
If you enable the multi-language widgets:
The AI review summary and the review highlight (in English) will be translated accordingly.
The review keywords and sentiments only show when the Happy Customers Widget is in English.
If you enable cross-store syndication:
The AI review summary and the review highlight will show in the Happy Customers Widget as normal, but they are only generated from reviews for the store that it's showing on, not the shared reviews.
The review keywords and sentiments won't show in the Happy Customers Widget.
If you selected Current collection as the review type for a Happy Customers Widget block, the review keywords won't show in that Happy Customers Widget block.
