Judge.me review trigger

How it works

Here's how a flow using the New review received trigger works:

  1. Your customer submits a new review directly from your Judge.me review request email.

  2. We send a trigger to your Shopify Flow.

  3. You can use this trigger to automate follow-up actions such as:

    • Sending internal notifications (Slack, email, etc.)

    • Tagging the customer or order

    • Creating tasks or support tickets

    • Updating your CRM or marketing workflows

    • Sending follow-up emails based on the review rating (e.g., a thank-you email for 5-star reviews, or support outreach for 1–2-star reviews)

    • Logging reviews into external tools like Google Sheets

    • Triggering loyalty or rewards systems based on review sentiment

Judge.me request trigger

How it works

Here's how a flow using the Review request ready trigger works:

  1. Your customer places an order.

  2. The order is marked as fulfilled in your store.

  3. After your configured delay in the Request Timing section, instead of sending a review request email from Judge.me, we'll send a trigger to your Shopify Flow.

  4. You can use this trigger to send review requests from your email, SMS, or WhatsApp apps.

How to set it up

To use the Review request ready trigger in your Shopify Flow:

  1. From your Flow admin:

    • Click the Create workflow button on the top right.

    • Click Select a trigger.

    • Find and click on the Review request ready trigger from Judge.me.

    • Add any conditions and actions you want the flow to perform.

    • Click Turn on workflow on the top right.

  2. From your Judge.me admin:

    • Go to Settings > Integrations.

    • Search for Shopify Flow and click the integration card.

    • In the Connect section, check the box next to "Use Shopify Flow to create workflows based on Judge.me events".

    • In the Review requests section, check the box next to "Send trigger when it's time to send a review request" (available for Judge.me early user program only).

    • Click Save.

Note:

  • Please contact your email, SMS, or WhatsApp providers for detailed instructions on how to build the review request flow using this trigger.

  • Once the trigger is enabled, we stop sending requests from Judge.me. Make sure your flow is fully set up so no review requests are missed.

Judge.me request actions

How it works

Here's how a flow using either the Send review requests for order or Skip review requests for order action works:

  1. You can start the flow with any Shopify Flow trigger (e.g., Order created, Order fulfilled, Tag added, etc.).

  2. When the flow meets your conditions, Shopify Flow will call one of the selected Judge.me actions:

    • Send review requests for order – tells Judge.me to send a review request for that specific order.

    • Skip review requests for order – tells Judge.me not to send a review request for that order.

How to set it up

To use the Send review requests for order or Skip review requests for order action in your Shopify Flow:

  1. From your Flow admin, click the Create workflow button on the top right.

  2. Add any trigger you want to start the automation (e.g., Order fulfilled, Order created, or a tag being added).

  3. Add any conditions you need (optional) to define when to send or skip review requests.

  4. Find and select one of these actions from Judge.me:

    • Send review requests for order

    • Skip review requests for order

  5. Click Turn on workflow on the top right.

Example flows

1. Send review requests 14 days after order fulfillment

When the order is fulfilled in Shopify, you can use Shopify Flow to send a Judge.me review request. This action will override any automated sending/skipping actions in Judge.me. You can use Shopify's "Wait" action to add a delay time between the fulfillment and the review request.

2. Skip review requests for orders with just one line item

When the order is fulfilled in Shopify, you can use Shopify Flow to skip a review request in Judge.me. This action will override any automated sending/skipping actions in Judge.me. You can apply certain conditions (e.g., order value, order quantity, etc.) to skip specific review requests.
