The Beans integration lets Beans give customers points for their reviews. It gives customers a reason to write a review.
How the Beans integration works
Here's how a review earns points in Beans:
A customer leaves a review.
Judge.me checks the review against your reward settings in Judge.me: Who can receive coupons and Which reviews trigger a discount.
If the review qualifies, Judge.me sends Beans the customer's email through the Beans API, and Beans adds the points set in your Beans Product Review rule.
Each review earns points once, even when a customer reviews several products from the same order.
Considerations
Before you set up the Beans integration, review the following considerations:
This integration is available on the Judge.me Reviews Awesome plan and any Beans plan.
Judge.me coupons aren't generated while Beans is enabled.
Judge.me doesn't send an API request for imported and synced reviews.
Set up the Beans integration
Step 1: Connect Judge.me to Beans
To connect Judge.me to Beans:
From your Beans dashboard, go to Integrations.
Click the Judge.me card.
Click Connect.
Next to Judge.me, click Authorize.
Next to Connect your Judge.me account, click Connect.
On the Judge.me Authorization required page, click Authorize.
Step 2: Create the review earning rule in Beans
To create the review earning rule in Beans:
From your Beans dashboard, go to Loyalty > Rules.
Open the Product Review rule.
In the Points field, enter the number of points for each review, for example 200.
(Optional) From the Time Limitation dropdown, select how often a customer can earn points for a review.
From the Review App dropdown, select Judge.me.
Click Save.
Step 3: Enable Beans in Judge.me
To enable Beans in Judge.me:
From your Judge.me Reviews app, go to Settings > Integrations > Beans.
Select Enable Beans.
If you send coupons through Judge.me, click Continue in the Disable Judge.me coupons message.
Click Save.
Disable the Beans integration
To disable the Beans integration:
From your Judge.me Reviews app, go to Settings > Integrations > Beans.
Select Disabled.
Click Save.
After you disable Beans in Judge.me, new reviews no longer earn points. If Judge.me coupons are enabled, Judge.me starts sending them again with your current coupon settings.
Troubleshoot
If a customer left a review in Judge.me but their Beans balance didn't change, Beans may not have received the review from Judge.me.
Beans suggests resyncing to sync all your Judge.me reviews again, so reviews it missed can still earn points.
From your Beans dashboard, go to the Judge.me integration.
Click Resync.
