The Gameball integration lets Gameball give customers points and badges for their reviews. It gives customers a reason to write a review.
How the Gameball integration works
Here's how a review earns points and badges in Gameball:
A customer leaves a review.
Judge.me sends Gameball a webhook when a customer leaves a review.
Gameball adds points and badges if the review matches the earning rule you set up in Gameball, which covers the points, the badge, how many reviews a customer needs to leave, and whether they need to review a specific product.
Considerations
Before you set up the Gameball integration, review the following considerations:
This integration is available on the Judge.me Reviews Awesome plan and any paid Gameball plan.
This integration is developed and maintained by the Gameball team. For help with setup or any issues, contact Gameball support.
Judge.me doesn't send a webhook for imported and synced reviews.
Judge.me coupons aren't generated while Gameball is enabled.
Set up the Gameball integration
Step 1: Get your Judge.me private API token
Available on the Free plan
To get your Judge.me private API token:
From your Judge.me Reviews app, go to Settings > Integrations.
Click View API token on the top right.
Copy the Private API token.
Step 2: Connect Judge.me to Gameball
To connect Judge.me to Gameball:
From your Gameball app, go to Apps.
Click Add New App.
Select Judge.me, then click Next.
In the API Key field, paste the Private API token you copied in step 1.
Click Next.
Click Add to add the reviews event to the Players' Events section.
Check that Judge.me now shows in Available Apps.
Step 3: Create the review earning rule in Gameball
To create the review earning rule in Gameball:
From your Gameball app, go to Programs > Configure.
Click Create New Challenge.
Select Event-based as the challenge type.
In Event Settings, select review_judgeme.
Set the challenge conditions, such as how many reviews a customer needs to leave or which product they need to review.
Click Save.
Step 4: Enable Gameball in Judge.me
Available on the Awesome plan
To enable Gameball in Judge.me:
From your Judge.me Reviews app, go to Settings > Integrations > Gameball: Badges & Rewards.
Select Enable Gameball.
If you send coupons through Judge.me, click Continue in the Disable Judge.me coupons message.
Click Save.
