Judge.me supported languages

Available on the Free plan

Judge.me allows you to set different languages for:

  • The Judge.me admin interface (what you see when managing the app)

  • Customer-facing elements such as widgets and notification emails

These settings are independent, so you can manage the app in one language while showing widgets and emails to customers in another.

Admin interface language

Supported admin languages

Your Judge.me admin language sets the language you see across the Judge.me admin: the dashboard, the onboarding steps, the AliExpress Reviews Importer, and the emails Judge.me sends you (like new-review notifications). It's free on every plan.

This is separate from your widget and email language: you can run the app in one language while showing widgets and customer emails in another.

The Judge.me admin interface is available in the following 15 languages:

  1. Chinese (Simplified)

  2. Chinese (Traditional)

  3. Danish

  4. Dutch

  5. English

  6. French

  7. German

  8. Italian

  9. Japanese

  10. Polish

  11. Portuguese

  12. Romanian

  13. Spanish

  14. Swedish

  15. Turkish

Note:

  • If you prefer to manage the app in a language that is not yet supported, you can use a browser translation tool (such as Google Chrome’s built-in page translation). However, because these tools are provided by your browser and are not supported by Judge.me, the translations may not always be accurate.

Change your admin language

To change your Judge.me admin language:

  1. From your Judge.me admin, go to Settings > Language.

  2. In the Language section at the top, open the Admin language dropdown and choose your preferred language.

  3. Click Save.

Matching your Shopify admin language automatically

If you have never chosen a Judge.me admin language, Judge.me automatically matches your Shopify admin language the next time you open the app (for supported languages only). When this happens, you'll see a one-time notice with a Switch to English option.

After this first match, your choice sticks — changing your Shopify admin language later won't change your Judge.me admin language. You can always change it manually at any time from the Admin language dropdown.

The language for widgets and emails determines what your customers see on your storefront and in review emails.

We support the following 39 languages for our emails and widgets:

Change your widget and email language

To change the default language in your widgets and emails:

  1. From your Judge.me admin, go to Settings > Language.

  2. In the Language section at the top, open the Widget and notification emails language dropdown.

  3. Choose your preferred language.

  4. Click Save.
    ​
