Brillocraft is a no-code mobile app builder for Shopify stores. It turns your store into an iOS and Android app. This guide shows you how to show Judge.me reviews in your Brillocraft app, and how shoppers can write reviews from it.
How it works
Brillocraft connects to Judge.me with your Private API token. After you connect it:
Rating and Reviews block: shows a product's star rating and reviews on the product page in your app.
Store Reviews block: shows your store reviews on any screen, for example the home page.
Write a review in the app: shoppers can leave a review from the product page. Brillocraft sends it to Judge.me.
You manage reviews in Judge.me: you publish, hide and reply to reviews there, as usual.
Considerations
This integration is developed and maintained by the Brillocraft team. For help with setup or any issues, contact Brillocraft support.
You need Brillocraft's Starter plan or higher. See Brillocraft on the Shopify App Store.
Judge.me and Brillocraft must be installed on the same Shopify store.
Reviews written in the app come in as web reviews. Your publishing settings apply, so some may wait for your approval. They can't be marked as verified.
Keep your Private API token secret. Treat it like a password. Only paste it into Brillocraft. You can't regenerate it yourself. If it's exposed, contact Judge.me support.
Store Reviews shows your store reviews. Collect them first. See Collecting and displaying store reviews.
Set up the Brillocraft integration
Step 1: Copy your Private API token
From your Judge.me admin, go to Settings > Integrations.
Click View API tokens on the top right.
Copy the Private API Token.
Step 2: Connect Judge.me in Brillocraft
From your Shopify admin, open the Brillocraft app.
Go to Integrations and open Judge.me.
Paste your Private API token.
Click Save.
Turn on the Judge.me toggle.
Step 3: Add the reviews blocks
In the Brillocraft customizer, open your Product details page.
Drag the Rating and Reviews block onto the page.
To show store reviews, open another screen, such as your Home page, and drag in the Store Reviews block.
Click Save for Preview.
Step 4: Preview, test and publish
Scan the Brillocraft QR code to open the preview on your phone.
Open a product that has published reviews. Check that the rating and reviews show.
Open a product with no reviews.
Write a test review from the app. Check that it arrives in your Judge.me dashboard.
When everything looks right, click Publish in Brillocraft.
Troubleshoot
The connection won't save

Issue:
Brillocraft doesn't connect to Judge.me when you click Save.
Why it happens:
The token is wrong. It may be the Public token, have extra spaces, or come from another store.
How to fix:
Copy the Private API Token from Judge.me again and paste it with no spaces. Check that Judge.me and Brillocraft are installed on the same store.
Reviews don't show in the app

Issue:
The integration is connected, but no reviews show.
Why it happens:
The toggle is off, the block isn't on the page, or the product has no published reviews.
How to fix:
Check that the Judge.me toggle is on in Brillocraft.
Check that the Rating and Reviews or Store Reviews block is in your app design.
Check that the product has published reviews in Judge.me.
A review written in the app isn't showing

Issue: A shopper wrote a review in the app, but it doesn't show.
Why it happens:
Your publishing settings may need you to approve new reviews first.
How to fix:
In your Judge.me dashboard, go to Reviews and publish it if it's waiting.

Issue:
Your changes don't show in the app.
Why it happens:
The preview hasn't updated.
How to fix:
Click Save for Preview in Brillocraft, wait for it to finish, then reopen the preview. Click Publish to update the live app.
