The setup guide is the quickest way to finish setting up Judge.me Email. It's a checklist on your Home dashboard that appears automatically until everything on it is done — no separate screen to open, and you can leave and come back anytime.
How it works
The guide walks you through three stages, each unlocking once the previous one is complete.
Stage 1 covers four essentials:
Set up your brand — set your logo, colors, fonts, and buttons so every email looks like your store. Already done this elsewhere? Click I've already set up my brand to check it off.
Activate your automations — turn on at least one flow to start sending emails automatically.
Enable Judge.me on your storefront — turn on the app embed in your theme so your sign-up forms can appear. Click I've already enabled it if it's already on.
Set up your sign-up popup — capture email subscribers from your storefront. This one checks itself off automatically once your popup is active — nothing to confirm manually.
Finish those, and the guide moves on to:
Stage 2 — Activate the rest of your flows — the remaining automated flows you haven't turned on yet.
Stage 3 — Activate remaining draft emails — any other emails inside your active flows that are still drafts.
Considerations
This isn't a one-time wizard — it stays on Home until every stage is complete, and it can reappear if something regresses (for example, if you turn a flow back off).
There's no way to dismiss it early. It clears itself once everything's done.
Some items, like brand setup, can't always be detected automatically — they're marked complete when you confirm it, not by Judge.me checking your settings for you. Others, like the sign-up popup, check themselves off automatically based on your actual settings.
Finishing the setup
Step 1: Complete the essentials
From your Shopify admin, go to Apps > Judge.me Email.
Find the Finish setting up Judge.me Email card.
Set up your brand, activate at least one flow, enable the app embed in your theme, and set up your sign-up popup.
Step 2: Finishing the rest
Once the essentials are done, the guide shows any remaining inactive flows.
Turn on any more flows you want running.
Review and activate any draft emails inside your active flows.
