By integrating Judge.me with Dotdigital, you can sync verified product reviews directly into Dotdigital's Reviews collection. This allows you to use review data to personalize marketing campaigns, automate engagement, and better understand your customers.
Once connected, review data becomes part of your customer insights in Dotdigital. This enables you to:
Automatically enrol reviewers into automated marketing programs
Send follow-up emails such as thank-you messages or discount offers
Segment audiences based on review activity
Use review insights to personalize campaigns
This integration helps turn customer feedback into actionable marketing signals.
Considerations
Before using this integration, keep the following in mind:
The integration does not create new contacts in Dotdigital. If a reviewer is not already a contact, their review data will not sync or trigger program enrolment.
Program enrolments occur only after reviews are verified and published.
You can use Shopify Flow with Judge.me to send review invites, but this process is managed outside Dotdigital.
Sync timing may vary depending on review verification status.
The Dotdigital Shopify integration must already be installed for this integration to function correctly.
How it works
After the Judge.me × Dotdigital integration is enabled:
Judge.me sends verified product reviews to Dotdigital.
Reviews appear in Dotdigital’s Reviews collection as contact insight data.
If the reviewer already exists as a contact in Dotdigital, they can be automatically enrolled in an automation program.
Only verified and published reviews trigger program enrolment.
All synced reviews are tagged to indicate whether they are verified.
For example, when a customer submits a verified review, you could automatically send them a thank-you email or offer a discount.
Enable Judge.me × Dotdigital integration
To connect Dotdigital with Judge.me:
In Dotdigital, go to Connect > Integrations.
In the left menu under Show, select Self-serve.
Find Judge.me Reviews and click +ADD.
Click INSTALL, review the integration details, then click NEXT.
Under Judge.me authentication, select New authentication.
Enter an authentication name and click CREATE.
A pop-up will appear. Log in to your Judge.me account using your Shopify credentials.
Enter your Shopify store URL (for example:
https://yourstore.myshopify.com) and click NEXT.Expand the Review type dropdown and select Product Reviews, then click NEXT.
Under Select Program Enrollment for Selected Review(s), choose a program from the Programs dropdown.
If you do not have a program yet, choose No program selected (default).
Click FINISH to complete the setup and begin the initial data sync.
