Review links are useful in these cases:
Customer support follow-up: Share the link in one-on-one chats or helpdesk replies to collect feedback after resolving an issue.
Email newsletters: Add the review link in your regular store updates or seasonal email campaigns to prompt feedback from loyal customers.
New product launches: Invite past customers to try and review new arrivals, using the link as part of a soft launch or early access promo.
Giveaways and incentives: Run a "Review & Win" campaign where customers who leave a review using the link are entered into a prize draw or get a discount code.
How it works
You first create a review link — for a specific product, all products, or your store — and share it on a parcel insert, an in-store display, or a handout. Whichever type you use, collecting the review then follows the same flow:
The customer opens the review link and submits a review: They land on a review form, fill it in, and submit it. The review is then published or hidden based on your moderation settings. For an all-products review link, they select the product first.
We confirm the customer. We email the customer to confirm it's them who are writing the review. Once they confirm and the email matches a customer of your store, their review will be verified automatically.
These stages can happen in either order — depending on your settings, we confirm the customer before they write the review, after they submit it, or not at all. See Review confirmation emails for the full flow.
Considerations
Review links are public by design. Anyone who opens the review link can submit a review, even if they haven’t purchased the product — regardless of your Who can see a button to write reviews in widgets setting for web reviews.
Reviews submitted using a review link that are not confirmed by the reviewers won't be verified.

Scroll down to the All products page link section.

From your Judge.me admin, go to Settings > Request reviews > Links, QR codes and point of sale review collection.
Scroll down to the Store review link section.

Add QR codes to your POS receipts
If you’re using Shopify Point of Sale (POS), you can create a QR code for your printed receipt using the review link:
From your Shopify admin, go to Point of Sale > Settings.
In the Customize section, go to Receipts.
Open Footer.
Enable "Custom QR code".
Enter something like "Scan the QR code to leave your review!" as a label for your QR code.
In the URL field, paste in the All products page link or Store review link.
Click Save on the top right.
Which review form to use
Available on the Free plan
When a customer open your review link, you choose whether they write their review directly on your store or on our hosted page. Both options use the same form content and styling — see the two review forms for what each one looks like.
To choose which form customers see when using the review links:
From your Judge.me admin, go to Settings > Collection flow.
Scroll down to the Review collection section at the bottom.
Open the Where customer gets redirected when writing reviews from emails dropdown.
Select one of the following options:
In-store review form – Customers write their review directly on your store, in the popup form on the page. You'd need to install either the Review Widget for product reviews, or the Happy Customers Widget for store reviews. If neither is installed, use External form instead.
External form (Recommended) – Customers write their review on our hosted page, which opens in a new tab.
Click Save.
This setting isn't limited to review links — it also controls where customers land when they write a review from a review request email or a QR code.
