Featured products are usually the best-selling items for your store. It could also be a new product line or seasonal products. A featured product is often placed on the home page, where it is most visible to the customers, or on a specific blog post.
With Judge.me, you can also show reviews for that featured product to catch customers' attention.
Add the Star Rating Badge and Review Widget on your featured product
Step 1: Enable Judge.me app embed
To enable Judge.me app embed:
From your Shopify admin, go to Online Store > Themes.
Find the theme you want to edit and click Edit theme.
From the menu on the left, click the App embeds icon (the third icon).
Enable the Judge.me app embed.
Click Save on the top right.
Step 2: Add the Star Ratings block
To add the Star Rating Badge for your featured product:
Go to Shopify theme editor:
From your Shopify admin, go to Online Store > Themes.
Find the theme you want to edit and click Edit theme.
At the top of the theme editor, use the dropdown to select the template where your featured product is.
Add the block:
On the left panel, inside Template, click the > icon on the left of your Feature product section to open it.
Click + Add block.
Go to the Apps tab and and select Star Ratings.
Drag the block up or down to change its position.
Click Save on the top right.
Step 3: Add the Review Widget block
To add the Review Widget for your featured product:
Go to Shopify theme editor:
From your Shopify admin, go to Online Store > Themes.
Find the theme you want to edit and click Edit theme.
At the top of the theme editor, use the dropdown to select the template where your featured product is.
Add the block:
On the left panel, inside Template, click the > icon on the left of your Feature product section to open it.
Click + Add block.
Go to the Apps tab and and select Review Widget.
Drag the block up or down to change its position.
Click Save on the top right.
