By default, review requests are scheduled when an order is fulfilled, but you might need to add a review request manually in these cases:
The automatic review request is skipped because the order doesn't include an email address.
You want to ask a customer who buys the products offline to leave a review.
A customer would like to review the product even before the order is fulfilled.
How it works
Here’s a quick look at what happens when a review request is created manually:
You add a review request in manually. The request will show in the Requests dashboard with a Manual label.
We check if the request is valid (e.g. customer hasn’t unsubscribed, product is not excluded) and update its status accordingly.
If the request is valid, it will appear in the Requests dashboard as "Will send".
If the request is not valid, it will be skipped.
After 10 minutes, we send out the review request emails automatically.
Considerations
Requests scheduled manually will not trigger a review request event to Klaviyo. The review request emails will be sent with Judge.me templates.
Steps to add a review request manually
To manually schedule a review request:
From your Judge.me admin, go to Collect Reviews > Request History.
Click the Schedule requests button on the top right.
In the Schedule manual requests section, click the Schedule manual request button.
Enter the following details:
Reviewer's name: the name of the customer you're contacting.
Reviewer's email: the customer's email address
Product: the product you'd like them to review
Order fulfillment date: The date when the order was fulfilled
Click Schedule request.

To manually schedule a single review request in the new app design:
From your Judge.me admin, go to Settings > Request reviews.
Under Send manual requests section, click the Single request button.
In the Schedule manual request pop-up modal, enter the following:
Reviewer’s name: the name of the customer you're contacting.
Reviewer’s email: The customer’s email address.
Product: The product you'd like them to review.
Order fulfillment date – The date their order was fulfilled.
Click Schedule request.
We will automatically send the review request 10 minutes after it has been scheduled.
