Have reviews from Facebook, Instagram, offline sales, or personal connections? No problem! With Judge.me, you can quickly create and upload a properly formatted CSV file to showcase customer feedback on your store.
Note:
Imported reviews are not automatically verified. If you are importing reviews from a verified source, such as another store you own, contact support@judge.me with proof (e.g., screenshots of order history) for manual verification.

Step 1: Create the CSV file
Open the Judge.me import template and click Make a copy.
Fill in your reviews according to the format provided.
Download the sheet as a CSV file by clicking File > Download > Comma Separated Values (.csv).
Step 2: Upload your CSV file to Judge.me
From the left navigation, choose Manage Reviews > Import & Sync reviews.
In Import reviews from the CSV file, select Judge.me format.
Upload the file and click Import.
We will process the file and email you with details about the import results, including:
Number of successful reviews
Number of failed reviews
If you are using old settings
If you are using old settings
Navigate to Import & Export > Import reviews > From Judge.me Template (Advanced).
Upload your file and click Import Reviews.
Meaning of each column in your CSV file
Column name | Required? | Description |
title | optional | Title of the review |
body | required | Content of the review (max 5000 characters) |
rating | required | Review rating (1-5) |
review_date | optional | Date of the review (dd/mm/yyyy); if empty, defaults to current date |
reviewer_name | optional | Name of the reviewer; defaults to "Anonymous" if empty |
reviewer_email | optional | Email address of the reviewer |
product_url | optional | Link to the product page (e.g., https://abc.myshopify.com/products/sample) |
picture_urls | optional | Links to review images separate multiple links with commas (https://picture1.png, https://picture2.jpg), max 5 images, formats: .png, .jpg |
Advanced columns
You can also add more information to your reviews by adding these advanced columns to your CSV file.
Column name | Description |
product_id | The ID of your product in your e-commerce store |
product_handle | The unique handle of your product in your e-commerce store |
reply | A public reply to the review |
reply_date | The date when the reply was made |
ip_address | The IP address of the review (e.g., 34.203.165.149). We automatically calculate the location (city, country, country code) based on this IP address. |
CFYour Question | Answers to custom questions (each question needs its own column; only text format is accepted). |

When you download a Judge.me template, it includes only the basic columns. You can add advanced columns as needed or contact our support team for assistance.
