Shopify permissions required by Judge.me

To provide full functionality, Judge.me requests specific permissions during installation. These permissions allow us to send review requests, display widgets, verify buyer status, and more. Shopify has reviewed and approved Judge.me for the permissions that require their validation.

Here is the list of all permissions we require:

Enable review requests, product groups, store groups, and the Google Product Reviews XML feed.

View orders

All order history, including customer name, contact details, IP address, and more

Send review requests, verify buyers, and show verified badges. Required for both past and future orders.

View customers

Customer names, emails, phone numbers, and addresses

Send review requests on your behalf, adjust email timing based on the buyer's location, and show reviewer locations in the Review Widget.

Manage marketing

Marketing events via Shopify’s Marketing API

Help generate insights for Judge.me's Reports.

Manage your Online Store

Pages on your Online Store, script tags in your Online Store, theme, or metaobjects

Automatically install widgets, add the All Reviews Page, and customize placements within your theme.

Manage other data

Price rules (discount codes)

Create coupon codes as incentives for customers who leave reviews.
