Get product ID and product handle for to create CSV file for importing reviews

When creating a CSV file for importing reviews into Judge.me, you will need either the Product ID or Product Handle to correctly associate reviews with the corresponding products in your store.

In this article, we will guide you through the process of finding your product ID and product handle for your CSV file. You only need either the ID or the handle, depending on what is easier for you.

Shopify

Product ID

  1. Go to your Shopify admin and click on Products.

  2. Select the product you want to find the ID for.

  3. Check the URL in your browser. The Product ID is the number at the end of the URL (e.g., https://yourstore.myshopify.com/admin/products/1234567890, where 1234567890 is the Product ID).

Product Handle

  1. Visit a live product page on your Shopify store.

  2. Look at the URL. The Product Handle is the text that comes after products/ in the URL (e.g., https://yourstore.com/products/sample-product, where sample-product is the Product Handle).


Squarespace

Product ID

  1. Visit https://judge.me/products in your browser.

  2. Right-click on the product you want to find the ID for and select Inspect.

  3. Locate the data-external-id attribute—this is your Product ID.

Product Handle

  1. Visit a live product page on your Squarespace store.

  2. Check the URL. The Product Handle is the text that comes after your store domain in the product URL.


WooCommerce

Product ID

  1. Log in to your WooCommerce admin panel.

  2. Navigate to the Products tab.

  3. Hover over the product you need, and the Product ID will be displayed below the product name.

Product Handle

  1. Visit a live product page on your WooCommerce store.

  2. Check the URL. The Product Handle is the text that appears after product/ in the URL.


BigCommerce

Product ID

  1. Log in to your BigCommerce admin panel.

  2. Select the product you want to find the ID for.

  3. Check the URL. The Product ID appears at the end of the URL.

Product Handle

  1. Visit a live product page on your BigCommerce store.

  2. Check the URL. The Product Handle is the last part of the URL, regardless of the prefix.
