Discounts help convert subscribers into buyers. In Judge.me Email you can add a discount in a few places, and they all work the same way underneath.
How it works
Discounts can appear in three places:
Sign-up popup — offer a discount to new subscribers.
Flow emails — the Welcome, Abandoned checkout, and Winback flows include a Discount block by default.
Campaigns — add a Discount block to a campaign email in the editor.
Wherever it appears, a discount is always an existing Shopify discount code that you select — Judge.me doesn't generate its own codes.
Considerations
Whether a Judge.me Email discount can be used at the same time as another discount depends on the combination settings on the discount in your Shopify admin. If you want discounts to stack, enable the relevant combinations on the Shopify discount.
A Discount block added to the Welcome flow only auto-links to your sign-up popup's discount if the popup already has one when you add the block. Every other flow, and every campaign, always gets an independent block with no link to the popup.
On a linked Welcome-flow block, picking a different code yourself immediately unlinks it — your choice is protected, and it stops following future changes you make to the popup's discount. If you want to relink it, use the Use your popup's discount button that appears on an empty block, or re-select the popup's code manually.
Setting up the discount code
1. Sign-up popup
To set up the discount for the Pop-up:
From Judge.me Email admin, go to Popups.
Click Customize, then select the Rules tab.
Under Discount, turn on Offer a discount.
Click Select discount, then choose an existing Shopify discount code from the Select a discount modal. If you don't have one yet, Click Create discount in Shopify to set one up first.
2. Flow email
From Judge.me Email admin, go to Flows.
Open the flow, then open the specific email you want to edit.
Click + Add section, then click the Discount card to insert the block — or click an existing Discount block already in the email.
Click the block to open its settings, then click Select discount and choose a code from the Select a discount modal.
Optionally set the block's Label text, Expiry text, and colors.
On the Welcome flow specifically, adding a fresh Discount block auto-links it to your sign-up popup's discount, if the popup already has one — you'll see a "Synced from your sign-up popup" hint on the block. Picking a different code yourself immediately unlinks it, so your choice is protected going forward.
3. Campaign email
From Judge.me Email admin, go to Campaigns.
Open the campaign, and go to its Content step to reach the template editor.
Click + Add section, then click the Discount card to insert the block.
Click the block to open its settings, then click Select discount and choose a code from the Select a discount modal.
Optionally set the block's Label text, Expiry text, and colors.
