Unlock the AI Review Summary widget to showcase a store-level AI summary with a 15-day free trial.
The AI Reviews Summary is a standalone widget that lets you display a store-level, AI-generated summary of your customer reviews.
It highlights overall sentiment and shows your average rating and total review count, helping shoppers quickly understand your store’s reputation without reading individual reviews.
You can add this widget to any page of your store using the Shopify theme editor, including your homepage, landing pages, or content pages.
How it works
When the widget is installed:
Judge.me analyzes your published reviews across your store
AI identifies common themes and overall sentiment
A short summary is generated automatically
The summary:
Requires at least 5 published reviews
Is refreshed automatically (once every 30 days)
Reflects overall store feedback, not individual products
The AI Review Summary widget supports multiple languages.
If your store uses one language, the summary is shown in that language.
If your store uses multiple languages, the summary is translated and shown in each published language.
Shoppers always see the summary in the same language as the widget they’re viewing.
Considerations
The widget requires at least 5 published reviews.
The summary updates automatically once every 30 days.
The summary reflects overall store feedback, not individual products.
The AI-generated summary cannot be edited.
How to add the AI Review Summary widget
You add the AI Review Summary widget using the Shopify theme editor, just like other Judge.me app blocks.
From your Shopify admin, go to Online Store > Themes.
Click Customize on your theme.
Navigate to the page where you want to show the widget.
Click Add block.
Under Apps, select AI Reviews Summary (Paid).
Position the widget where you want it to appear.
Click Save.
The widget can be added to any page, including your homepage.
Customize the AI Review Summary widget with Shopify theme editor
You can customize the AI Review Summary widget directly from the Shopify theme editor after adding it as an app block. To access these settings:
Go to Online Store > Themes.
Click Customize next to your theme.
Navigate to the page where it's added.
Click the AI Reviews Summary (Paid) block.
Preview data
Use Preview only to switch between:
Sample data: Preview how the widget looks with example content
Real data: Preview your actual AI review summary
This setting affects the editor preview only and doesn't change your live store.
Theme
You can use the Theme dropdown to choose the widget layout, each theme has slightly different layout behavior and settings when selected:

Keywords and action button
Show keywords with sentiment: Displays sentiment keywords (for example, shipping or support) alongside the AI summary.
Show action button: Displays a call-to-action button that allows shoppers to open the full reviews experience.
Styling
Use the Styling section to adjust the widget’s appearance:
Title size: Controls the size of the widget heading
Text size: Controls the size of the summary text
Alignment: Aligns content to the left or center
Corner styling: Controls the roundness of the widget corners
Widget color: Background color of the widget
Text color: Main text color
Lighter text color: Secondary text color
Button color: Background color of the action button
Button text color: Text color inside the button
Show sentiment markers in lighter text: Displays sentiment markers using a lighter text style
Maximum width: Controls how wide the widget appears on the page
Text
Use the Text section to customize the widget heading.
Heading: Edit the first part of the widget title (for example, “Customers rate this store”).
Note:
The rating value and review count are added automatically and can’t be edited.
Text customization applies to your primary language. Other languages are translated automatically.
