Creating and sending an email campaign

Create a one-off email campaign with the three-step wizard: Audience, Content, and Review & send.

Available on the Free plan

Campaigns are one-off emails you send to a group of customers — for a sale, a launch, or an announcement. You build one with a three-step wizard: Audience, Content, and Review & send.

Create a campaign

  1. From your Judge.me Email admin, go to Campaigns.

  2. Click Create campaign.

Step 1: Audience

  1. Enter a Campaign name (this is for your reference only — customers don't see it).

  2. Under Audience segment, choose a Shopify segment. Judge.me Email shows an estimated recipient count for the segment you pick.

  3. Click Save, then Next.

Don't see the audience you want? Create a segment in Shopify, then reopen the campaign to select it. See the campaign audiences guide for more.

Step 2: Content

In the Message step, set:

  • Subject line

  • Preview text — shown after the subject in most inboxes.

  • Sender name and Reply-to email. Emails send from the shared Judge.me domain; you can change your sender defaults in Settings.

Under Email content, click Choose a template to pick a template or start from a blank canvas, then design the email in the editor. Click Next when you're done.

Step 3: Review & send

Review your audience and message, then choose when to send:

  • Send now — sends right away. You'll confirm in a prompt (Send this campaign now?Yes, send now).

  • Schedule for later — pick a Date and Time (at least 15 minutes from now, shown in your timezone), then confirm (Schedule this campaign?Yes, schedule).

You can also leave Smart sending on to skip customers who were emailed in the last 16 hours, so you don't over-email anyone.
