Social proof banners let you transform any customer review into a ready-to-share visual. Instead of taking screenshots, you can select a review, customize the design, and download a clean, professional image in seconds.

It’s a fast way to showcase trust, wherever you promote your store.
Considerations
Social proof banners export as a single image file.
You cannot edit the actual review content inside the banner, only styling and visibility.
Multiple reviews per banner are not supported.
There is no shareable link, the image is downloadable.
Only the following settings require the Awesome plan:

How it works
A social proof banner is a single image built from:
A background (review image, product image, color, or custom image)
A customizable review box overlay
Review content (stars, text, reviewer details)
Optional logos
Create a social proof banner
Available on the Free plan.
To create a banner:
From your Judge.me admin, go to Settings > Social sharing.
In the Social proof banner section, click Create banner.
In the pop-up window, select a review.
Click Save to store your template settings.
Click Download image to export the banner.
Your banner is downloaded as a ready-to-use image file.
Customize your social proof banner
After selecting a review, you can customize every part of your banner in the left-side editor panel. Customization settings are organized into sections: Review, Layout, Review content, and Logo.
1. Changing the review
Available on the Free plan.
Under Review, click Change review to select a different review.
You can switch between:
All Reviews
Product Reviews
Store Reviews
Spam
Archive
Once selected, the banner preview updates instantly.
2. Customizing the layout
Available on the Free plan.
Go to Layout in the editor panel.
2. 1. Banner size
Under Banner size, choose:
1080 × 1080 px (Square): ideal for feed posts and ads
1080 × 1920 px (Portrait): ideal for Stories and vertical ads
2.2. Background style
Under Background style, choose:
Review image (default)
Uses the first image from the selected review
The option is hidden automatically if the review has no images
Product image
Background (select 1 out of 12 Judge.me generated background)
Solid color (enter a hex code)
Custom image (upload your own image)
2.3. Review box
Under Review box, you can:
Show or hide the review box
Change review box color
Adjust transparency (0–100%)
Select corner styling:
Square
Soft
Round
Extra round
Choose review box position:
Top
Center
Bottom
2. 4. Image overlay
Adjust:
Overlay color
Overlay transparency
This helps improve contrast when the background image is bright or busy.
3. Customizing review content
Go to Review content.
3.1. Star rating
Adjust star size
Change rating icon
Edit star color
3.2. Review text
Show or hide review title
Show or hide review body
Adjust body text size
Set maximum body length for the review (number of lines)
Change font family
Change text color
Long text is automatically truncated to prevent layout issues.
3.3. Review details
You can show or hide:
Reviewer name
Verified badge
Product name
You can also adjust:
Details text size
Details text color

Go to Logo section.

Download the social proof banner
Once you're happy with your design:
Click Save to store your template settings (optional but recommended).
Click Download image in the top-right corner of the editor.
Your banner will be downloaded as a ready-to-use image file. Each banner is exported as a single image file and cannot be edited after download. To make changes, return to the editor.
Share the banner on social media
You can also manually share the banner to your preferred social media platform. To share your banner:
Click the Share review button.
Select which platform you'd like to share the banner on:
Facebook
Instagram
Pineterest
Tumblr
Adjust the post text
Click Publish post.
Troubleshoot
"Review image" option is missing from background style
"Review image" option is missing from background style
If the selected review doesn't include a photo, the editor hides the Review image option automatically from. Use Product image, Solid color, or upload a Custom image instead.

Social proof banners automatically truncate:
Long reviewer names
Long product names
Long review bodies
To improve readability:
Reduce the Review body text size
Increase Max review body text length
Store logo selected but not shown

Make sure you already uploaded your store's logo. To upload your logo:
From Judge.me admin, go to Settings > Email templates.
In the top-right, click the Edit template styling button.
In Email layout > Store logo, click Add files.
Upload your logo and click save.
